Cody Robert Simpson (born January 11, 1997) is a 14-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who is currently signed to Atlantic Records and has been recording a 4 song demo with there. He has released 3 singles on iTunes: One, Perfect, Summertime — and has just released his new debut single on May 15, 2010 “iYiYi”, featuring Flo Rida. Cody Simpson was born to parents Brad and Angie Simpson. He has two younger siblings, Tom and Alli. He is of Australian ancestry, but now also lives in Los Angeles to record his songs with Atlantic Records and his producer, Shawn Campbell, who has produced for Usher and other artists. Cody has hinted at the fact that he would possibly want to represent the Australian swim team.

On May 15, 2010, he released his debut single on YouTube, “iYiYi”, which features singer/rapper Flo Rida and has so far, garnished over 15,000 views as of 14:00 EDT on May 16, 2010.
